In October, the Baton Rouge Planning Commission is scheduled to review plans for a Panda Express location near Burbank and West Lee drives. If approved and the new Panda Express location is built, it would be the fifth franchise in the Capital Region. Panda Express recently began construction on its fourth site on Siegen Lane. The Chinese takeout restaurant also has a location in the LSU student union.
The planning commission is also set to review plans for a 7 Brew Coffee location and it recently approved plans to build a Starbucks that would also be located at the intersection of West Lee and Burbank. A development property adjacent to the planned Starbucks location is set to have a plaza with a Dunkin’ Donuts location and other businesses.
