Founded as a vegan bakery featuring cinnamon rolls in 2010, Cinnaholic shot to fame when the founders pitched their business on a 2014 episode of Shark Tank, and now, the first Cinnaholic location is being planned for Uptown at 4921 Freret St. Franchisee Keiyanah Ratleff recently told What Now New Orleans that she was drawn to Cinnaholic for its vegan options and use of quality ingredients. Ratleff said the plan is to open by the end of 2024. “This is a real labor of love journey because we have to turn a house into a commercial bakery,” she said.
